We have had plenty of suggestions for using our candied jalapeños in food, so I wanted to show you something a little out of the box. Cocktails are becoming more adventurous, and one way to be creative is to use the RED and GREEN rings as an addition to your festive beverages. It doesn’t have to be mulled wine - although that would be an easy one - but some of our favourite tipples can be tweaked with something a little sweet and spicy.

Remember, these are just suggestions. Feel free to change ingredients to suit your taste, and if you have time, why not dehydrate some thinly sliced citrus fruit (in a low oven setting) to garnish your cocktails. You are the mixologist of your own home, so get creative and share with us @HaynesGourmet.

Cheers!
